The ELL Department works to service students whose first language isn’t English. Students who are found eligible for ELL services receive English Language Development (ELD) instruction from a certified ELL teacher as well as Sheltered English Immersion (SEI) content classes where reading, writing and subject matter are taught in English. These two major components of the ELL program combine to provide a comprehensive educational experience for each English Language Learner.
