Good evening Scituate Students, Families and Staff,
As our community recovers from this storm, power has been fully restored in all schools except Hatherly and Wampatuck.  However, utility crews have made these schools a top priority and expect that they will have them up and running by late this evening.  With power slated to be fully restored to all school buildings tonight and heating systems currently up and running (on generators for Hatherly & Wampatuck), we are optimistic that all schools will be open tomorrow, Tuesday, March 6.
We do expect another significant high tide tomorrow so SPS busses will run on modified high tide routes for our flood prone areas for both morning and afternoon runs.  Families on or near flood prone streets can view the full list of high tide routes here .  High Tide Alert As a reminder, if there is any unanticipated change in status, school cancelations are typically sent out to all families no later than 5:30am via both email, phone message, website and local news notifications.
